Shutdown observed in Zaingeer, Handwara, Langate over militant killing

Baramulla: Shutdown is being observed in Zaingeer Sopore, Langate and Handwara against  killing of two local militants on Tuesday.

Two mitants belonging to Lashkar e Taiba were killed in a gunfight in Galoora area of Handwara yesterday.  They were identifies as Furkan and Liyaqat.

Traffic is off the roads and business establishment are closed in the area.

While liyaqat had joined militant ranks in July this year,  Furqan was 18.

Liyaqat’s sister was to get married on same day he was killed.
