Anantnag:- Anantnag administration seized several vehicles for illegal extraction of minor minerals from Bringi nallah at roohu Anantnag
To curb the illegal extraction from Bringi Nallah at ruhoo, Munghall in Anantnag District a team from District administration officials along with revenue department headed by ADC Anantnag Showkat Ahmad Rather & tehisildar Anantnag Mr. Abid Gani raided some areas in Anantnag district & seized two tractors fully loaded with bajri & a boldozer which is used for bajri extraction at Roohu Munghall in Anantnag. 
However ADC took a serious note of the illegal extraction of Bajri and exhorted upon the concerned departments to stop the practice of illegal extraction and exploitation of the natural resources.
The ADC directed Geology and  Mining department to provide a demarcated site for extraction of Stones, and Bajri for development purposes. He also directed that department shall restrict the plying of tippers and tractors carrying the extraction material on the  road in the area.
Additional Deputy commissioner  also called for stopping the illegal extraction of Stones & Bajri in Anantnag District otherwise the voilators should face strict action from govt.he added.
