Govt Forms Committee To Work Out SRTC Liabilities

Srinagar: The J&K government on Monday constituted a committee to reconcile and workout actual liability pending with various departments and organizations for the services rendered by the J&K State Road Transport Corporation.
Headed by Transport Commissioner J&K, the committee has representative of finance department, director finance (GAD) and any co-opted member. It has been tasked to suggest a road map to clear liabilities and shall be serviced by the transport department, according to an order issued here. The Commitee has been asked to submit report within one month.
