Sopore: Clashes between government forces and youth broke out in Sopore area of Baramulla district on Wednesday soon after  Protests after congregational Eid prayers culminated.

Reports said that soon after the Eid prayers were over at Noorgah Eidgrah, a group of youths started pelting stones at forces who were deployed at Main Chowk Sopore to maintain law and order.
The forces used tear smoke shells to disperse the protestors.

Meanwhile clashes in the area was on when last reports came in.

However Eid prayers elesewhere in district Baramulla ended peacefully.
