Srinagar : A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker was kidnapped and shot dead by unidentified gunmen in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Tuesday night, official sources said.
A BJP worker, identified as Shabir Ahmad Bhat, went missing from his village at Pathan Hamlet in Pulwama last evening, he said.
A police complaint was lodged, the sources said.
A body was recovered in Rakh Litter and on investigation, it was found to be of the missing BJP worker.
