DC Bandipora meets producers of film ‘Notebook’, assures help in smooth shooting

Bandipora: District Development Commissioner (DDC ), Bandipora, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary on Tuesday met a group of film producers who had called on him to discuss various issues including shooting of film “Notebook” at village Zoorimanz, situated on the banks of Wullar lake.
SSP Bandipora, Shiekh Zulfkar Azad; Assistant Commissioner Development, Jehangir Ahmad; District Information Officer, Mohammad Yousuf Mir, Tehsildar Bandipora, Mubashir Saleem Nazki and other concerned were present in the meeting.
The meeting discussed threadbare various issues including security, accommodation, transportation, public interaction and other issues pertaining to the successful conduct of film shooting.
The DDC gave instructions to the concerned Officers to facilitate the crew to ensure their hassle-free working. He asked ACD to facilitate the crew by way of construction of link road and footpaths wherever required. He also directed SSP to provide proper security in the areas of shooting.
The DDC said conducting of film shooting in Bandipora is a good omen for development of tourism sector in the district.
Earlier, the team head of the crew briefed the DDC about the proceedings of shooting.
Later, the crew and the team of Officers headed by Assistant Commissioner Development visited Zoorimanz village for on spot assessment of the requirements
