Srinagar:  A 38-year-old woman was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Drabgam village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.

The woman identified as Shameema, wife of Ali Mohd Bhat was shot at near her paternal home at Drabgam village.

She was visiting her parents and lives in  Koil village

According to sources she was was immediately  evacuated to nearby hospital but she succumbed to injuries.

Government forces have launched manhunt to nab the assailants.
