Srinagar: J&K Services Selection Board (SSB) has postponed the counselling and document verification of candidates for various posts scheduled to be held on Friday in view of the mourning announced by the government over the demise of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the former Prime Minister of India who died yesterday at the age of 93.

“It is notified for the information of concerned candidates that the Counselling and document verification for the posts of Teacher (06 of 2017), of various district cadres, which was scheduled for today i.e 17th of August 2018 is hereby postponed, in view of the mourning announced by the State Government, following the demise of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Former Prime Minister,” Secretary of the board said in a notice issued here.

The new date of Counselling and document verification for such candidates shall be notified separately, the secretary added.
