Soldier killed in Handwara

Handwara: A soldier was killed in Kralgund Handwara in northern Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said on Friday. The soldier sustained injuries during a gunfire and was immediately evacuated to nearby medical facility where he succumbed to his injuries. The slain has been identified Rifleman Rambabu Sahi. It was not immediately known whether the soldier died in the encounter or there was some other reason to it.
