Tral : Students of Little angels academy in Tral on Saturday took out an anti-drug rally to create awareness about hazards of drugs among the masses.
The rally was flagged off by the Principal of the school Zaffar Malik, along with other staff members of school. 
On that occasion, large number of students participated in the rally which flagged off from the school premises in Bilalabad area and after passing through the Kandistan area of Tral culminated at the school.
Meanwhile, locals of the area hailed the initiative of the school management and encouraged their efforts, saying it would help in disseminating the information with regard to health hazards of drug abuse.
The school kids also passed the special messages to people that how drugs are hazardous and should be controlled on prior basis, besides that students destroyed bung cultivation around the area.
One of the teachers Mohammad Jeelani has said that, “it is not government’s responsibility but ours to stop this menace and destroy this from grassroots level”
He further said that organising such rallies is the need of hour as it may help us to control this menace by letting people aware about its consequences.
