“Our BDO is a cheater and has never done his work properly,” locals said.

According to residents the developmental work to be undertaken by the BDO’s office either have been left half way of never taken up.

“The only work if it ever happens needs a push from influential persons. Poor are left to suffer,” they said, accusing BDO’s office of collecting money from the villagers to let the SBM, sanitation scheme, be disbursed.

They however claimed, even after they paid Rs 2000 per case, the money as provided by the government was never handed over to needy.

“We appeal Governor NN Vohra to look into the matter and check the financial statements, counter checking it with reality on ground,” they appealed.

They claim that there are gross inconsistencies in the claim the BDO’s may be claiming on paper but a fact check will reveal official apathy and corruption.
