Shopian: Two youths have been injured one among them hit with a bullet during clashes in TukrooTengwan village of shopian in south kashmir amid Cordon and search operation launched by Government forces.

Youths took streets and started pelting rocks and bricks on government forces who retaliated with tear smoke shells to disperse the youth.

“One of the injured, Fayaz Ahmad from Poterwal Shopian, has received bullet injury in abdomen,” hospital sources said.

Clashes were going on in the area when this report was being filed.
