Kupwara: A women suffered several injuries after she was attacked with sharp blades by an unknown person in Kumhar mohallah gunipora In northern Kashmirs district kupwara.
Injured lady was identified as Mysooma  Bano daughter of Ali Mohammad Kumar resident of Kumar mohallah ganipora  in district kupwara.
“I was sitting alone at my home, suddenly someone knocked at the door and asked whereabouts of my parents, later he asked for some rice”, Mysooma  said.
“While pouring rice into his bag, he attacked me and used some Sharp blades to attack me,” she said.
Neighbours rushed to the place but the attacker managed to escape from the scene.
From the scene Mysooma was evacuated to District hospital kupwara for treatment.
BMO kupwara Fareed Shaheen chaudhary said that, the victim has suffered multiple injuries, but is out of danger.
Police also reached the spot to investigate the matter.
Earlier a boy from kachama was kidnapped by unknown men and had suffered similar  type of injuries.
It’s second such incident in past 15 days.
