Promotion of IPS officers: Govt reconstitutes Screening Committee

Srinagar: J&K Government today reconstituted the Screening Committee for promotion of IPS Officers to the grade of Director General ofPolice/Additional Director General of Police or equivalent posts.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, the Screening Committee will be headed by the Chief Secretary, BVR Subrahmanyam.

The Members of the Committee include, Chairman/Director General, IMPARD, Lokesh Dutt Jha, Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department, R K Goyal and Director General Police, Dr S P Vaid.
