Govt orders Magisterial probe in killing of man at Farooq Abdullah’s Bhatindi residence

Jammu: Government has ordered a magisterial probe into the killing of one person at the residence of former chief minister Farooq Abdullah on Saturday, officials claimed.

According to sources District Development Commissioner (Jammu) Ramesh Kumar ordered the probe following massive protests by relatives of the slain man, Syeed Murfad Shah.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jammu North has been ordered to conduct the probe and submit his report within a month.

Shah had tried to barge inside the house and was killed inside the house by gaurds posted there .
