In a statement JRL while ‘condemning’ the recent spurt in ‘killings by Indian forces’ paid tributes to recently killed militants in Kupwara, sopore and in Shopian.

“People should hold funeral prayers in Absentia for martyrs of kupwara, sopore and shopian on August 5 and strictly observe shutdown on aug 5 and 6,” JRL said.

JRL has asked for a shutdown against ‘attempts to scrap article 35A’, hearing for which is slated on august 6 for final disposition in Supreme court.
