We will deal with the abductors: DGP SP Vaid on cop abduction

Srinagar:  Police will deal with those abducting forces personnel said  Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir SP Vaid on Saturday.

Vaid however added that policemen should take precautions so to avoid any such incident.

“We received the information about the abduction of the SPO in south kashmir and we are verifying it. His family perhaps said that the SPO has gone to his relatives. Still, we are verifying it,” Vaid said while referring to SPO Mudasir Ahmad Lone, who was abducted by suspected militants in wee hours of Saturday from Chan Kitar area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Vaid was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a passing out parade function organized by BSF in Humhama.

“We will have to deal with abductors,” he said on asked about the sudden rise in such incidents.
