Blood donation camp organised at SKIMS Soura

Ishtiyaq Ahmad Beigh president pharmacist Association SKIMS said the camp is being organised on the direction of its chief Patron Fatima Rasool.

Blood donation camp starts 12:30 pm in SKIMS Soura Auditorium.

The blood donation camp at SKIMS Soura here saw regular blood donors and many other who donate blood first time, one of whom came to donate the blood for 161 th time.

Shabir Hussain Khan 55, has example by being the regular blood donor for 38 years.
He began donating blood from 1980 when he was 27 year old.
Khan said that donating blood is the great human service. “I am donating it for sake of human services,” he said

There were many other regular blood donors at the camp as well.

HOD Blood Bank of SKIMS Soura Dr. Aleem Jan said the blood will be utilised for emergency cases, critical care patients and needy patients.
He said the collected blood is stored at the blood transfusion department.
