Ganderbal: Walnut tree falls on house, family escapes unhurt

Ganderbal: A family had a narrow escape after walnut tree fell on the residential house crushing its ceiling in Ganderbal district.

Family of Javeed Ahmad Malik S/o Abdul Rashid Malik of Akhoon Mohalla Gund, Ganderbal, along with his family was present in the house when the tree came crumbling on its rooftop.

SHO Gund Syed Arif said a residential house was damaged after walnut tree fell on roof top of Malik’s house on Tuesday evening.

“The tree crashed due to incessant rains and wind storm,” he said.
