Monday: Government forces on Monday launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in a village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

A posse of army men and the special operations group (SOG) of police laid a cordon around Kulhama village of the district this morning and started a search operation, witnesses.

Thejoint team, witnesses said were carrying out house to house searches suspecting presence of militants in the village.

The search operation was going on when the last reports came in.
