5 women among 9 injured in accident on Tral-Awantipora road

Tral: Five women were among nine persons injured on Saturday in a road accident at Boohu area on Tral-Awantipora road, police said.

A police official said a truck (JK02AA-1625), collided with a sumo (JK03C-8378), resulting in injuries to nine passengers.

The injured have been identified as Parvez Ahmad Sheikh, Shaheena of Baghait Kanipora, Khurshed Ahmad Malla of Jawbhra Awantipora, Rafiqa Begam, Dilshada , Hajra Begam of Charsoo Awantipora, Mohammad Akram Chopan of Tral, Sara Begum of Chandhara Pampore and Abdul Rashid Wani of Ladoo Pampore. They have been shifted to PHC Awantipora for treatment.
