Kupwara: Students protest against civilian killing, tear gassed

Kupwara: Students of Degree college Kupwara Tuesday protested against killing of a civilian recently in Trehgam By Army.

Students raised pro freedom, anti India slogans while protesting against killing of Khalid Gaffar.

Police swung into action and tear gassed protesting students to disperse them.

Khalid was killed after army opened fire in the  area few days back. They had come under stone pelting by youth.

Two of the Khalids brothers are in Jammu and Kashmir police while one of his brother is a serving army man.

Goverment has already ordered a probe into the killing.
