Sarmad Hafeez gets additional charge of Dir Info As Zargar Proceeds On Hajj

SRINAGAR, JULY 16: The Government today ordered that Secretary Information, Sarmad Hafeez shall hold the additional charge of the post of Director Information & Public Relations till incumbent Director, Tariq Ahmad Zargar resumes his duties.
Pertinently, Zargar has proceeded on leave to perform Hajj.
Meanwhile, Sarmad Hafeez today visited the Media Complex, Srinagar to personally take stock of the functioning of the Information Department.
The Secretary visited different sections of the department wherein he was given a detailed presentation on the working of the concerned wings.
He also inspected the ongoing work on Library-cum-Reading Room and Audio-Visual facility coming up at the Media Complex, Srinagar.
The Secretary interacted with the employees of the Information Department and listened to their suggestions for further improving the working of the department.
Joint Director Information (Headquarters) Saajid Yehaya Naqash gave a detailed briefing to the Secretary Information about the functioning of the Department and the future initiatives.
