Final round of Junior category in Inter School Talent Hunt on July 18 at RP boys school Alamdar colony

Srinagar: Junior level finals of Inter-school essay writing competition of Inter School Talent Hunt being conducted by three techies in collaboration with Space communication will be held on July 18 at RP School alamdar colony.

Almost 800 students have participated in the competition in two categories Junior and Senior.

“780 participated in Multiple Choice Questions in both the categories,” Uman Bhat, chief coordinator of the event said.

While 75 students have qualified for the final rounds in the junior category, i.e standard 6th and 7th, will go into final round on Wednesday.

While in Senior’s category, standard 8th-9th , 75 have qualified for the extempore round.

The schools that are participating in the event are RP school boys, RP school Girls, Green Valley Education Institute, The legends school of education, Crescent Public School.

Three techies, Uman Bhat, Mehwish Qayoom, Malik Aneeq,  who are pursuing their Bachelor of Technology degree joined together to ‘help students get exposed to the competitive world they will be facing in the future’.

“We introduced extempore part to make students understand the cut throat competition they will have to traverse through and the challenges awaiting them,” Bhat said.
