Sec Gen UN calls international probe into Kashmir HR abuse ‘the voice of UN’

UNITED NATIONS:Secretary-General Antonio Gutierres  hailed its human rights commissioners call for an international investigation into human rights situation in Kashmir saying that it represents the “voice of the UN”. 

He also backed Human Rights report of  Commissioner Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, media reports said.
Sec Gen UN also lashes out at India’s recent comment that he has over stepped his mandate and HR commissioner has a ‘bias’ saying  they were both covered by the “the general mandate of human rights instruments”.
