Army Soldier dies of heart attack during morning exercise in Pattan Baramulla

Baramulla, July 13: An army soldier died on Friday in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramula district due to cardiac arrest.

Reports said that Naik Bahadur Tokri (belt number 14823665 A of 519 ASC Bn) fell unconscious during the morning exercise at Pattan and was rushed to nearby MI room by his colleagues where doctors declared him brought dead.

Later the body was taken to Sub-District Hospital Pattan for postmortem.

When contacted hospital authorities told GNS that the soldier might have died due to possible cardiac arrest.

Meanwhile police in this regard has registered a case and started further investigations in this regard.
