Awantipora : An amaranth yatri died while two others were injured in a road accident on Srinagar-Jammu highway near Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district  on Wednesday.

Official sources said DPS school bus (JK01N-5074 and a swift vehicle (No RJ 14CT/1772), carrying pilgrims, collided with each other  on New Bypass near Padgampora Awantipora, resulting injuries to pilgrims— Savita wife of Surinder Chowdhry, Mukash Kumar son of Ganga Ram, Reenu of Mukash Kumar of Lakshmi Nagar Jaipur.

All the injured were shifted to PHC Awantipora in which Savita (55) succumbed to her injuries.
