Govt reconstitutes pay anomaly committee

Srinagar: The governor administration in Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday re-constituted Pay Anomaly Committee to be headed by administrative secretary Finance to examine various anomalies in the existing pay structure as may come to the notice of the Committee and suggest measures to remove such anomalies.

The five-member panel has also been tasked to examine various anomalies (in the existing pay structure of various services) resulting from implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations or unresolved issues of earlier pay revisions.

The committee has been also mandated to examine any other matter connected therewith or incidental thereto. The Committee, formed in supersession of all previous orders, shall be serviced by the Finance Department, a government order issued here announced.

The committee has administrative secretaries of respective department, GAD and Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs while Director Codes finance department as member secretary.
