Srinagar: A gunfight broke out between militants and a search party of the army and police in forest near Khanpora Magam area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
“Exchange of fire between SFs (security forces) and militants in forest areas of #Handwara. Details will follow,” police said on Twitter. Further details are awaited.
