Baramulla triple murder case: charge sheet filed

Srinagar: Police on Saturday filed a chargesheet pertaining to murder of 3 Baramulla youth on April 30, 2018.

The chargesheet was filed in the Court of Principal District and Sessions Judge Baramulla against two arrested Lashkar-e-Toiba militants and two still at large militants of same organization, police said.

“Four accomplices who abetted in the commission of terror crime have also been arrested and chargesheeted in the case,” police said in a statement.

The weapons including two AK series rifles and one pistol used in the commission of Crime have also been produced before the court, police added.

Police said that the copy of opinion from Forensic Science Laboratory confirming that bullets recovered on scene of crime have been fired by same weapons have also been appended in the chargesheet along the other oral and scientific evidence including the vehicle used in the commission of crime.

Three young men,  Irfan Ahmad Sheikh @ Asif Sheikh S/O Ali Mohammad Sheikh R/O Syed kareem, Baramulla, Mohammad Asgar Sheikh @ Afsar Khan S/O Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh R/O Kakar Hamam, Baramulla and Haseeb Nabi Khan S/O Ghulam Nabi Khan R/O Kakar Hamam,Baramulla were killed during evening hours of April 30th this year.

Those chargesheeted include three militants of LeT namely Aijaz Gojri, Bilal Najar and Shoaib Akhoon, police said adding that Shoaib Akhoon was however still at large.
