Poonch: A police man was Thursday killed after he was hit by a speedy tipper in Poonch district of jammu division of the state on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad, 36, son of Mohd Yousuf of Chandimar, a SgCt (Police Constable) was posted at JKAP 6th battalion B company in the border district.

The tipper (JK02BJ-7035) hit a motorbike (PB32Q-4969) at Draba area resulting in on spot death of the bike rider.

The tipper was on its way to Surankote from Buffliaz when the accident took place, they said.
