Yatra suspended on both routes

Authorities on Wednesday suspended the Yatra on both Pahalgam and Baltal routes following the death of three Yatries in a landslide incident at Baltal.

An official said that Yatra on both the routes has been suspended due to the yesterday’s incident. The Yatra will be resumed once they get orders from the concerned authorities.

Earlier, three Yatries were killed and five have sustained injuries due to a landslide on the Baltal yatra route in Ganderbal district late last evening. An official said that three persons were killed and five injured in the landslide accident that triggered due to rains in the Yatra area.

Among the five injured one who is said to be critical has been shifted to Srinagar hospital for the further. treatment.
