13 IAS, 4 KAS officers transferred: Farooq Shah Posted Secy PHE, Shahid Iqbal is Dc B’pora

Srinagar: The state government on Monday ordered transfer of thirteen IAS and four KAS officers in the interest of administration.
According to orders issued here, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, IAS(JK:1993), Financial Commissioner, Revenue, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Government, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department.
Sarita Chauhan, IAS(JK:1999), Chairperson, J&K Special Tribunal, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, relieving Mohammad Javed Khan, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports Department of the additional charge of the post.
Raj Kumar Bhagat, IAS(JK:2000), Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department. Ms. Salma Hamid, IAS(JK:2004), Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department, has been transferred and posted as Chairperson, J&K Special Tribunal.
Farooq Ahmad Shah, IAS(JK:2004), Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department.
Rigzian Sampheal, IAS(UP:2003), to the Government, Tourism Department, has been asked to hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, School Education Department, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
M. Raju, IAS(JK:2005), Secretary to the Government, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, also holding the charge of Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, J&K. Saugat Biswas, IAS(JK:2006), Transport Commissioner, J&K, shall also hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, till further orders.
Simrandeep Singh, IAS(JK:2008), Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Doda, vice Bhawani Rakwal, KAS, who will await orders of adjustment in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, IAS(JK:2009), Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, posted as Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, relieving Mr. Khurshid Ahmad Sanai, KAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora of the additional charge of the post.
Ms. Sushma Chauhan, IAS(JK:2009), Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu, has transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Samba, vice Mr. Rajinder Singh Tara, KAS, who will await orders of adjustment in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu. Ramesh Kumar, IAS(JK:2011), Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, also holding the charge of CEO, SPV, Jammu City, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, vice Mr. Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, IAS(JK:2010), who will await orders of adjustment in the office of divisional commissioner, Jammu.
Mohammad Aijaz, IAS(JK:2012), Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, vice Shahid Iqbal Choudhary. Rahul Yadav, IAS(JK:2014), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, vice Mohammad Aijaz. Showkat Aijaz Bhat, KAS, Director, Area Planning and ex-officio Special Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, vice Gazanffer Ali, KAS, who will await orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department. Shamim Ahmad Wani, KAS, Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam, vice Sajad Hussain Ganai, KAS, who will await orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department. Ms. Indu Kanwal Chib, KAS, Deputy Labour Commissioner, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Director, Rural Sanitation, J&K, vice Mohammad Nazir Sheikh, KAS, who will await orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department. Jahangir Hashmi, KAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, is posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department.
