Shopian: A soldier was injured after militants hurled a grenade at army in this south Kashmir district on Friday.

Official sources said that militants hurled grenade on Army’s school post in Ahgam Shopian, resulting in injuries to a soldier who have been rushed to hospital.

Confirming the incident, SSP shopian told INS that one army man was injured.  “We are verifying the facts,” he added. The area has been cordoned off and searches were underway when this report was filed.
