Gun shots heard in Chatapora Pulwama during CASO

Pulwama: Several gunshots were heard while the government forces were conducting cordon and search operation in Chatapora Pulwama on friday.

The operation is still underway and there is no official confirmation of contact made with militants and the fire heard was only a warning shot or the encounter has erupted.

Cordon and search operation was launched earlier in Chatapora Pulwama and is joint operation of 55RR, CRPF and SOG Pulwama.
