Srinagar: A delegation of the Bharatiya Janata Party led by Ravinder Raina, BJP State President met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
The delegation also included Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister; and Sunil Sharma, Sat Sharma and Sham Lal Choudhary, all former Ministers.
The delegation raised with the Governor issues about the non-implementation of assurances as well as decisions relating to a significant number of roads, bridges and other development works. They also complained about the slow pace of development works, and requested Governor to direct the concerned departments to speed up the completion of all pending projects.
Governor assured the delegation that the execution of the development activities in the State will be closely monitored to ensure completion within envisaged timelines and urged them to work towards restoration of peace and communal harmony in the State.
