Srinagar: Two militants were killed in the ongoing encounter with government forces at Cheedar Qaimoh in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.
Official sources said that two militants were killed and another militant is still hiding in the house and operation is on.
Meanwhile, massive clashes erupted in the area as hundreds of youth marched towards the encounter site. The protesting youth pelted stone at forces and when this report was filed, clashes were going on. The authorities have also snapped internet in the Kulgam district even as such services are already blocked in Pulwama, Anantnag and Shopian districts.
