Srinagar: Two days after Jammu and Kashmir came under governor’s rule, the government on Thursday ordered transfer of eight IAS and KAS officers in the interest of administration.

Dheeraj Gupta (IAS; JK:93), Principal Secretary (Coordination), Resident Commission, J&K Government, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. “He will also hold the additional charge of the Principal Resident Commissioner, MK Government, New Delhi.”  Rohit Kansal (IAS; JK:95), Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department. He will also hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, Hospitality & Protocol, Estates and Civil Aviation Departments. “He will also function as Principal Secretary, (Grievances) and shall supervise the functioning of restructured Grievance Cell of J&K Government.”

Khurshid Ahmad Shah (IAS; JK: 2000), Commissioner Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department.

Sanjeev Verma (IAS ; JK:2001), Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department, has been transferred and posted as Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.

Hemant Kumar Sharma (IAS; JK:2001), divisional Commissioner Jammu, has been transferred as posted as Commissioner Secretary RI and Traning.

Hilal Ahmad Parray (IAS; JK: 2001), officer on special duty in GAD, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary GAD.

Syed Sehrish Asgar (IAS; PB: 2013), awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as deputy Commissioner Budgam vice Mohammad Harun (KAS) who has been  posted as director Command Area Development Kashmir against available vacancy.)
