Srinagar: The Governor N N Vohra on Wednesday appointed B. B. Vyas (IAS), Chief Secretary, J&K and Vijay Kumar, a retired IPS officer presently serving as Senior Security Advisor Union Ministry of Home Affairs, as his advisories.

“The Governor of Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to appoint the following as Advisors to the Governor with effect from the date they assume charge:-i. Shri B. B. Vyas, IAS, Chief Secretary, J&K. ii. Shri Vijay Kumar, IPS (Retired), presently serving as Senior Security Advisor, Union Ministry of Home Affairs,” reads an order issued here.
