Srinagar: Following approval by President of India to impose governors rule in the state of Jammu and Kashmir governor NN Vohra has put the legislative assembly under ‘suspended animation’.

The orders according sources were passed on Wednesday morning after President approved the imposition of governors rule in the state following BJP backed off from the coalition government with PDP on tuesday.

Vohra has yesterday written to the president after the collapse of the elected government in the state following the pulling out of BJP from the ruling alliance.
