Poonch: Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Monday met the family of Rifleman Aurangzeb, who was abducted and later killed by militants in Pulwama’s Gusoo.

Aurangzeb was abducted from Pulwama by militants and later his bullet-ridden body was recovered on June 14.

Before killing him militants had short a video of him in which he accepted being part of Major Shukla’team. Shukla was injured in a gunfight between Army and Sameer Tiger, a top HM militant.

The deceased Army man was abducted in broad daylight from a vehicle.

Aurangzeb belonged to 44 Rashtriya Rifles, and was posted in Shopian
