2 persons shot at in Shopian village, shifted to hospital

Shopian: Unknown gunmen, suspected to be militants, fired upon two persons in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday.
Identified as Aijaz and Shakeel, the gunmen fired upon them at Trenz village of the district this evening.
The duo was immediately shifted to district hospital Pulwama where from they were referred to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment.
A police officer confirmed the incident and said that investigations into the case have been launched. It was not immediately known as to why the duo was attacked.
