Youth, girl injured in army action after clashes in Pulwama village

Pulwama: A girl and youth were injured alleged in army action following clashes in Nowpora lassipora area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
Locals said after army entered the village and tried to “vandalize” property of local militant—Shaju Tiger. Soon people assembled there and clashed with the army. The army fired few rounds, leading injuries to a youth Viqas Ahmed Rather and girl Ruqaya Jan, both residents of Nowpora. Both of them have been hospitalized, they said. There was no official confirmation as to the injuries to youth and girl in the incident.
