Srinagar: At least ten paramilitary CRPF personnel were injured in a grenade blast in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday, sources said.
They said militants hurled the grenade on CRPF party near Ganjiwara area and the device exploded with a bang, resulting in injuries to ten paramilitary personnel.
The injured identified as Panda Ram, Boota Singh , Subash , Vijay Kumar , Narveer Singh , Jeet Ram, Mahinder, Ramdin , Hari Shankar and Porna Chandra were shifted to hospital for treatment. No concerned police or CRPF officer could be contacted for official confirmation.
