Jammu: Two persons were arrested after they opened fire on a Naka party in a failed weapon snatching bid in Thanamandi area on Monday.

Sources said that the duo fired Two bullets on Government Forces at a naka during wee hours but both were apprehended along with weapon.

Apprehended boys were identified as identified as

1.Mukhtar Ahmed S/O Abdul Ahad Dar
R/O New Colony ~ Safanagri (Zainapura) Shopian
Age 22 Years.

2. Aijaz Ahmed Paaray
S/O Sanullah Parray
R/O Keshva, Chitragama
Shopian
Age 22 Years

“Investigation has been started initially we believe that  they wanted to snatch the weapon of the police personal deployed in naka but they didn’t get success in the same,” sources told INS
