Mehbooba Mufti inaugurates Mehjoor Nagar bridge

Srinagar: The much awaited Mehjoor Nagar Bridge was inaugurated and thrown open for public movement by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufit on Monday .
The bridge had missed two deadlines in December and May.

The ridge was completed  a month back, the bridge connecting Lasjan, Padshahi Bagh, Mehjoor Nagar and adjacent areas with the Srinagar city was yet to be thrown open as it needed official inauguration.
There was no public movement allowed over the bridge even after its completion as the authorities had erected barricades on the bridge.
