Army on Sunday claimed to have killed six militants during a operation that was initiated along the Line of Control (LOC) in Keran sector of Kupwara district in north Kashmir.

Army spokesperson  Col Rajesh Kalia  in Srinagar said that so far six bodies of militants have been recovered who tried to attempt to infiltrate in Keran Sector of Kupwara district.

The army spokesperson said the operation is still in progress.
