Srinagar: Amid pro freedom sloganeering and multiple funerals thousands attended the funeral of Mudassir Ahmad and Sheeraz Ahmad who were killed by Army in Tanghdar Sector last month along with three more militants.

After running from pillar to post bodies of the duo were handed over to their families, living in Parigam in Kulgam and Lajoora in Pulwama.
Both were buried in north Kashmir after  Army had declared all the dead as “foreign infiltrators” however, the families of  Mudassir and Sheeraz later identified their kin.

According to locals Sheeraz’z funeral was addressed by Syed Ali Geelani telephonicaly. He was  laid to rest in Lajoora after multiple funeral prayers.

The authorities have snapped internet services in the twin districts.

Army had claimed that they have killed five unidentified militants while trying to cross line of Control in Tangdhar, and had said that the five are foreign. After their pictures went public the families claimed that the duo were their kins.

Authorities tuesday evening exhumed bodies from tangdhar were they were buried and handed over to families last evening.
