Sopore: Forces defuse IED planted near camp at Wadoora

Sopore: Government forces Monday defused an Improvised Explosive Device planted near the forces camp in Wadoora area of Sopore in Baramulla district.

According to police officials the Wadoora Camp houses Army and CRPF personnel.

“There was information that a bomb has been planted near the camp and after thorough search operation the IED was located and nuetralised,” official said.

Bomb Disposal Squad was rushed to the area who defused the IED.

There is a SOG camp nearby as well.
