Violation of Drugs act: 7 medical shops sealed in Mendhar

POONCH: Authorities today sealed 7 medical shops for violation of Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 here at Mendhar.

7 officers transferred

A team led by Assistant Controller Drug alonwith Tehsildar Mendhar, Drugs Inspectors and Police conducted inspection of eighteen drug stores and initiated action against the defaulters.

The erring Medical Shops  were sealed by the team for not keeping record of sales, hygiene and keeping expired drugs. The team also collected drug samples for lab test and quality check.
